Karli J. Plaza, Director of Litigation

Karli J. Plaza is the Director of Litigation who has been with The Law Offices of Reese Harvey since its inception. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Central Florida. After working for several years in the hospitality industry, she changed her career path and joined the paralegal studies program at Palm Beach State College. After her studies, she successfully passed the national paralegal exam and continued on to receive an advanced certification in Social Security Disability. Mrs. Plaza is also a Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar and an active member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association.

At The Law Offices of Reese Harvey, Mrs. Plaza performs legal research, investigative tasks and case management. She assists Mr. Harvey during client conferences and at each stage of litigation, including depositions, mediations and trials. Prior to trial, she is involved in preparing clients for testimony, creating exhibits, obtaining medical documentation, and interviewing potential witnesses.  At jury trials, Mrs. Plaza sits as “second chair” and is instrumental in jury selection, researching, and analyzing case law to support various motions that arise, providing each client with emotional support and creating jury instructions designed to obtain the best possible verdict.
